Anyone who knows me personally can attest to the fact that I'm not the most patient person you'll ever meet. In fact, I'm quite the opposite. That being said- when my Doctor told me on Tuesday she expected baby to make his // her grand entrance to the world before the week was over I was ecstatic! Then the waiting game started... for reals, and que the anxiety and bordem. I'm still having contractions, and the house is clean (like, really clean)... but still no Baby Oaxaca. So, I'll continue to wait... and walk...
I have heard from lots of mamma's that it's a great time to take advantage of your time off... take time for yourself and rest... a lot! I went for a pedicure a few days ago, met some lovely girlfriends for dinner, and went to pick up an anniversary present for the hubs. I got to visit co-workers while window shopping (getting ideas for Christmas presents already!) and had lunch at the Nordstrom Cafe by myself. It''s these sweet little moments that I've always taken for granted that I'm trying to savor while I still can.
